illustration fisk

i love lobsters…well usually eating them, so i feel a bit guilty about how much i like how mr. lobster (cap’n lobster?) turned out here. It’s so fun drawing animals that i think are so familiar, and then the more I look at pictures/video when working on the image i notice all sorts of weird interesting details. for instance, always knew the claws were different on lobsters, but didn’t realize one claw has jaggedy edges and the other one is rounded. fun fun. this guy will be seen on tea towels and napkins very soon!
