I had a blast this weekend presenting and live printing with 80~ folks at the @creative_sparkle_collective conference in Austin! It was envisioned and ran by my friend @this.is.tisa , and I’m in awe of this amazing world of joy and craft and community she’s created! Incredible!

Printing with so many people is a WILD experience - it gets really messy fast, because most people are newbies but that’s kinda part of the fun. Everyone got to print their bag to take home their AMAZING swag - see the pics! I designed the bag image for the con 😄

I left feeling so humbled and happy and just had the best time. I really love teaching workshops like this! And the volunteers who helped were beyond amazing! Thank you!! #creativesparklecollective

Such a special night launching ‘The Texas State Coloring Book�’ at @bookpeople ! Bookpeople is an incredible independent bookstore in Austin.

It meant so much to me to launch there and meant even more to see so many friends and family there for support! My parents and sister were even on zoom!

People colored during the presentation which was so fun too! The books they had in stock sold out but I’m sure will be in stock at @bookpeople soon! Reminder you can always ask your local bookstore to order a book for you!

It was a wonderful night!❤️

Very very exciting news!!! I have a new book coming out April 21st, 2026! It's a coloring book all about the state of Texas! From nature to architecture to the culture of life down here. 60 pages of the wild and weird of Texas. You can even pre-order it now :)

This was a delight to work on with @ulyssespress and will be distributed with Simon and Schuster!

i've been warming up lately with a painting prompts book and it's been fun. but this is by far my favorite page combo yet. lollll. On the left is a beautiful artistic rendering of my amazing husband as a banana on Halloween. The other lady needs no introduction.

I painted! these guys and really excited about it (assembled in photoshop) - this past year I've been practicing a lot with traditional material because while I love drawing digitally I want to bring more traditional in and realllllly enjoyed painting this. I basically planned out everything in digital first and then painted it in acryla gouache.

I love big birds and I cannot lie! Lolllll. We went up to the @dallas.world.aquarium last weekend and I took sooo many pics of birds and have been drawing them since. We saw so many incredible birds and fish. A good mind escape. Could have spent an hour hanging with this guy. The rhinoceros hornbill! #rhinoceroshornbill

Keeping up with my daily(ish) drawings. Say hello to Indominous Rex - a star of the LEGO Jurassic universe 😂

In getting back into more traditional drawing, which has been great, I’ve been more and more on the hunt for reusable materials. Markers/pens get used up FAST and it adds up! I’ve been trying out using a pentel brush pen with with a mix of water and fountain pen ink vs brush markers and it’s been great! Going to get a couple more for different shades. You can’t put watercolor paint IN the brush but fountain pen ink works great because it doesn’t clog.

I’ve also gotten a couple fountain pens with refillable cartridges which I’ve been enjoying! I’ve seen a couple options for reusable felt tip pens - if anyone has one they like, would love to hear about it!

Not all of these turned out good, or even great! I either used @makingarteveryday lisa bardot’s prompts or things that were in front of me already. It’s been fun and will be keeping it up! #makingarteverday #dailydrawing

Today's the day! Many of us have already cast our ballots but the polls around the country are open (open until 7 pm in texas). I believe voting is one of our most important tenets of our democracy. It's when every one of our individual voices, which feel small alone, can grow together. I believe no matter who you vote for what a gift and utter privilege it is to cast your vote.

I'm voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, as I believe in their future vision of America - for what they will protect, what they celebrate, their belief in humanity, and the future we can all be. We are in this TOGETHER. Let's do this.

Another silly cat comic. A very serious cat, unflappable truly...or is he? I realize this cat is giving some very demure, very mindful vibes but had written this awhile ago! Universe always comes together somehow. Enjoy!

How fun is this pattern?! Mockup of the apron - it's not real :) The layers of this design have been sitting on my ipad for weeks and finally made this into a pattern. You can find this on spoonflower (my link in bio).

After always feeling scattered in summer, I'm making fall about finishing many half done projects!

Also, um, i finally used the view pattern tool in photoshop and it's AWESOME? why have i been sleeping on that. More colors to come of this pattern i think as well.

I've been working on little comics, and here's a silly one. I've been enjoying pushing rhyming to it's absolutely ridiculous nonsense limits and it's been very fun.

I find LOON to be such a good and ridiculous word. it's so fun to say. Seriously, say it out loud!

The thrilling conclusion of Loon and Raccoon at High Noon will be revealed tomorrow!
